nicknames: there's not many, but she's been called chris a couple of times. most people just use blake, however.

WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE?
height: 5'9
weight: 123
hair: long, honey blonde coloured.
eyes: a sparkling blue that have occasionally looked navy blue, depending on the light.
general appearance: Blake's always been a California girl at heart. She's the type of girl to wear take tops and shorts paired with flip flops during warm summer days, and maybe even a light jacket over it. Living in one of the most famous places of California, she's never really felt the need to wear heavier clothes. Sure, she wears jeans and long sleeves every now and then, but it wasn't until she moved to New York to film Gossip Girl that she started feeling the need to buy warmer clothes. Within the first few months of living there, she bought seven coats! She's always thought of her style as fun an flirty, and gets a dash of inspiration from her clothes on GG.

dislikes: being stuck inside, being somewhere she there's no water (lakes, beaches, etc.), paparazzi, rumors about her, being thought that she's her character and not her own person, people having expectations about her that are not at all what she wants for herself.

fears: loosing someone in her family, loosing her job, having her personal life (all the true parts, at least) be publicized all over the world in gossip magazines
secrets: sometimes she wonders if she made the right decision to go into acting like the rest of her family, she actually had no interest in acting at all, but her brother made her go to a couple of auditions, which is how she got the roll of Bridget.
personality: Blake's always been a sweetheart, and has always had a bubbly and quirky personality. Growing up as the youngest out of five, Blake was used to rough housing and playing with her older brothers, as well as spending time doing some more girly things with her sisters. She's very loving and generous, and doesn't hesitate to help anyone she can. Unlike many people seem to think, Blake isn't at all like her character on Gossip Girl, nor what her character was like in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies.
She can be shy and quiet at times, though that's quite rare for her. She's a private person, and is wary sometimes about sharing too much information about herself with certain people, especially since she's gotten into the acting industry. But besides those things, she loves being around people and hanging out with her friends, whether it's going to get a cup of coffee after work, or spending a movie night at home. Fame and success isn't something that's gotten to her head, and she's still as grounded as she was before getting into acting.

history: Blake was born in Los Angeles, California on August 25th of the year 1987. Her parents are Elaine and Ernie Lively as the fifth and youngest out of the Lively children. Growing up in a family full of people in the acting industry, Blake got a taste of that world when she was young. It never interested her, however, as she chose to focus on life outside of the spot light. Just like any other kid her age, Blake would rough house with her siblings, read Harry Potter, and go to school. It was never really any different in her life until the year she turned seventeen. One of her brothers had gotten his agent to set up a couple auditions for her, and after going to them, Blake was chosen to play the part of Bridget Vreeland in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movie.
Filming the movie took place between her junior and senior years of high school, and when she returned, it seemed things were kind of different. Of course, being away and filming a movie for a long period of time had meant she missed out on quite a few things with her friends, and left her feeling a bit like a lost puppy. But then she started becoming more and more interested in pursuing the business her family was a part of, landing the roll of Serena van der Woodsen in 2007 with a couple of movies in between.
She's been playing that character for five years now, and managed to get a couple other movies in as well. Blake's had a few relationships, one of them being one with her Gossip Girl cast mate Penn Badgley, but they split in 2010. Now she's currently single and working on a couple new projects.

role play sample: "And that's a wrap!" Blake heard the director call out to the actors, grinning as she slipped out of her character as Serena. It was odd sometimes, even though she'd been playing the same character for most of five years, Serena was still quite a different personality than she herself was. "How was that?" she found herself asking Chace as he took a couple of steps away from her. A small bit of her lipstick was smeared on the right side of his mouth, and Blake reached up to smooth it away with her thumb as she let out a giggle. "Looks like you've got some lipstick on you," she said, pulling her thumb away when she was sure it was gone. "There, all better." ( Just a small note, my posts will be longer once I'm in a thread. Just a bit funny to write one up as the actor. ;] )
how often can you stay active?: Quite often. I'll most likely log in at least once a day, and probably get a post up the same.
