personality: florence has a very shy personality, though she is always very kind to everyone that speaks to her.
despite her quiet demeanor, it is known that she has a self-destructive side to her personality. she can get reckless and impulsive, believing that people often times can get caught between safety and freedom. an 'intense summer' that caused her to become angry and heartbroken may have caused this side to her, but ended up in the album 'Lungs'.

history: Florence went to thomas's london day school, then went onto alleyn's school, doing quite well in both academically. she often got in trouble in school for unrehearsed singing and she was diagnosed at a young age with dyslexia. shortly after her rise to fame, she suffered a bout of depression leaving her inspired for her first album 'lungs.' she dropped out of her college to focus on her music.
florence has a fascination with terror and doom which was intensified by the death of her grandparents within a few years of each other. she witnessed the deterioration of her grandfather at a young age, and her maternal grandmother committed suicide when florence was fourteen.
she has stated the she hopes her music carries the strong themes; sex, death, love, and violence.
