general appearance: Emma's always loved fashion. She likes dressing in chic clothing and stuff that's in fashion, but never anything that could be called sluty. She believes that the less you show, the more people wonder, and to her, that's sexy. She's the type of girl that you could easily find in sweats and a sports bra, along with simple jeans and a t-shirt, but on the other side of things, if she needs to go to an award show or a premier of some kind, Emma loves dressing up.

personality: Emma's always been a sweet and bubbly girl. Ever since she was little, she's always loved things such as reading and being read to, she liked being able to get lost in the fantasy world of books. She made friends easily when she was younger, and couple easily laugh at herself and make jokes. The only thing that most kids didn't seem to understand much was that she always enjoyed reading and being in school - something that was rare for kids her age.
As she's gotten older, she retains quite a bit of the same personality traits that she had growing up, only now she's had more life experience under her belt. Like the character she's so well known for, Emma is quite competitive and likes having control in some situations. But much like Hermione, she's loyal to those who are her friends or family till the end.

history: Emma was born on April 15th to parents Jacqueline and Chris Watson, in Paris, France. Her parents divorced when she was five years old, and she moved to Oxfordshire, England with her mother and younger brother following the divorce. There she attended several English schools such as The Dragon School and some others. By the age of six on, she knew that she wanted to become an actress, and trained at the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a part-time theatre school where she studied singing, dancing and acting for a number of years.
By age ten Emma had been in plenty of school stage productions, and when it was announced that the Harry Potter series would be turned into movies, Emma wanted to try out for the role of Hermione Jean Granger. Even though she'd never acted professionally before this role, she got the part. The Philosopher's Stone was released in England in 2001, and got a great amount of response from the fans. Since then, Emma's career took off and the world started knowing her as Hemione Granger.
While the Harry Potter series was her main project, Emma did a couple other things on the side. She started in a made-for-TV movie, BCC's adaptation of Ballet Shoes, as well as loaning her voice to the Princess in the animated movie, The Tale of Despereaux. She attended Brown University to pursue a college level education, but dropped out after a couple of semesters to focus on her acting. She's currently wrapping up the filming of her new film, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower.
